173 and +0.193. 6th in practice was again a PREMA Racing driver, Austrian Charlie Wurz, who at Spa-Francorchamps had climbed onto the podium with his teammates, bringing home performances that had been steadily increasing over the course of the season. Next up was Kacper Sztuka, Polish driver of the US Racing team, then Australian James Wharton (PREMA Racing), Ferrari Driver Academy driver. Completing the top 10 are Conrad Laursen and Nikhil Bohra, again reflecting the duel between the PREMA Racing and US Racing teams.
Gaps were small in the first session, with 20 drivers within a second gap from the leader.
Back on track from 16.45 to 17.25 for the second session. Qualifying will take place on Saturday morning in two 15-minute sessions, with a ten-minute stop in between, starting at 10.30. Then Race 1 in the afternoon of Saturday 2 July, starting at 15.10 (30'+1 lap). Sunday 3 July will see the start of Race 2 at 9.00 (30' + 1 lap), while the last race of the weekend will get underway at 14.00 (30' + 1 lap).
