Press release no .17 / 2016

Rome 04/05/2016 – We are two days away from the opening of hostilities at the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth: Friday, 6 May the drivers will take to the track for the practice and qualifying sessions. The races will instead be disputed on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 and, based on what we saw at Misano at the onset season, will be hard fought, and the outcome uncertain right up to the checkered flag.

• Let us remind you that all the races assign points that are valid for the overall ranking; the Rookie Trophy (reserved for drivers making their debut in this season), the Woman Trophy (for the ladies) and the team ranking.

• Speaking of rankings, Mick Schumacher is in first place in the overall ranking, followed by Raul Guzman and Marcos Siebert. Juri Vips is instead in first place for the Rookie Trophy, followed by Joao Correa and Giacomo Altoč. Fabienne Wohlwend is in first place for the Wonman Trophy, while Prema Power Team is the leading team, ahead of Jenzer Motorsport and DR Formula.

• Enthusiasts can follow the races live on Sportitalia (channel 60 of the DTT and 225 on Sky) and on national TV, but Motors TV is also providing coverage of the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth events in more than 40 countries around the world, with a 24 minute broadcast. The programme will be broadcast the week following that of the race (all information can be found on the Motors TV site) and will allow you to relive the most significant moments of the three days of races.
