Five teams of the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth were at Monza, on Friday March 3, for a free practice session: Bhaitech, Cram Motorsport, Diegi Motorsport, Jenzer Motorsport and DR Formula have been working hard to prepare the upcoming season, which will start on Sunday April 2 at Misano.
Leonard Hoogenboom (Cram) registered the fastest lap time with 1’53”639, ahead of Lorenzo Colombo (Bhaitech, 1’53”965) and his team mate, the young rookie Leonardo Lorandi, third with 1’54”413: a very good result for him, despite this was his first time at Monza. Morover, the young italian driver was the quickest in the afternoon session, on wet track: 2’00”547, more than one second fastest than the second, the much more experienced Leonard Hoogenboom (2’01”654).
Fourth overall place for Javier Gonzales - Diegi - followed by Giacomo Bianchi (Jenzer), Aldo Festante (DR Formula), Federico Malvestiti (Jenzer), Luca Segu (Cram), Felipe Branquinho (DR Formula), Giorgio Carrara (Jenzer) and the rookie Brasilian Rafael Grandi (Cram).
