A little more than a month out from the start of the season, there are already a great number of new arrivals to the season. As ever, teams are coming from all over the world to compete.
So a month out from the start of the 2017 Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth season, there are more than 30 drivers scheduled to race with the following 14 teams:
ADM Motorsport (ITA) Antonelli Motorsport ((ITA) BDL Motorsport (ITA) Bhaitech (ITA) BWT Mucke Motorsport (GER) Coloni Motorsport (ITA) Cram Motorsport (ITA) Diegi Motorsport (ITA) DR Formula (POR) DRZ Benelli (ITA) Henry Morrogh Racing D.S. (ITA) Jenzer Motorsport (SWI) Prema Power Team (ITA) Van Amersfoort Racing BV (AZE)
- Of these 14 teams, 4 are making their debut in the championship (BDL Motorsport, Coloni Motorsport, Henry Morrogh Racing D.S. and Van Amersfoort Racing BV), a sure indication of the attractiveness of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, not only for Italian teams. The number may still rise, however at the time of writing the teams already represent 5 different nations.
- The first race of the championship will start on the weekend of 31 March, April the 1st and 2nd at the Misano Circuit, so the championship situation continues to evolve.
