This is a fundamental step ahead of the start of the new season, which once again promises to be of the highest level, confirming the increasingly central role of both series in the international landscape and in the development of young talents on their path to professional motorsport.
Among the main highlights is a revised points-scoring system: no longer limited to the top 10 finishers, it has now been extended to the top 15 drivers across the finish line, increasing the total points on offer and making the standings even more competitive and open.
Points system:
1st 30pts
2nd 26pts
3rd 22pts
4th 20pts
5th 18pts
6th 16pts
7th 14pts
8th 12pts
9th 10pts
10th 9pts
11th 8pts
12th 6pts
13th 4pts
14th 2pts
15th 1pt
There are also updates on the technical and sporting side: engine management will allow a maximum of two power units to be used over the course of the entire season, introducing an additional strategic factor for both teams and drivers.
Particular attention has also been paid to the race format, which is confirmed in its "over circuit capacity" version, already used successfully in previous seasons.

Given the championship's continued growth, this solution will be adopted more frequently throughout the year.
When the number of cars exceeds the track's capacity, drivers will be split into two qualifying groups and subsequently into three groups (A, B and C). Each group will contest two qualifying races of 25 minutes plus one lap, with cross-group pairings, after which a combined overall classification will be determined.
The top 36 drivers will then advance to the final race, which will complete the weekend programme. All races will award points counting towards the Championship standings.
Regarding the titles at stake, the Italian F4 Championship will award the Drivers' Championship, the Teams' title, as well as the Rookie and Female Trophies confirming a well-established structure capable of recognising all categories of participants.
A similar structure applies to the E4 Championship, which will offer the overall title, the Rookie Trophy, the Teams' Trophy and the Female Trophy, continuing its growth as a complementary and highly formative series.
A complete and updated regulatory framework for the 2026 season, which looks set to be one of the most competitive and well-attended yet, marked by continuity, growth and the development of talent along the road to Formula 1.
